Here at Colman Bros, Weston-super-Mare, we are a team of two brothers, Alex and Darren. We are both are highly skillful craftsmen with over 60 years experience between us.

Darren takes care of customer liaisons, carrying out surveys, designing kitchens/bedrooms and general management duties. He is responsible for project management and scheduling of all jobs. With his practical background in installation of kitchens and bedrooms, he is able to design jobs from a practical point of view, making the transition from design through to completed installation a smooth process.

Alex is in charge of installations, leading his team on site. Using his vast experience to maintain our standards and ensure projects are completed on time.

Darren was proactive from the outset, coming up with an innovative idea for our fitted wardrobes. During installation, he was on-site to meet and brief each contractor. Fantastic from start to finish. Project plan given in advance, and was spot on. Beginning and end of process was bang on time. Kitchen stripping, builders, plasterers, kitchen fitters, flooring person all on time and cleared up after themselves. Kitchen is very good quality. We have a fantastic new kitchen that was delivered by the Colman brothers and their extended team of professionals. From our initial contact with Darren to discuss our requirements through to completion was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The quality of the products and the attention to detail in the kitchen layout design and installation was exactly what we were looking for. The tradesmen (and lady) that Colman Brothers use were all incredibly nice and tidied up at the end of every day - it was a joy to have them in our home. Everyone turned up on time and the 5 week project was finished on schedule with no snags. We are so pleased we chose to engage Colman Brothers and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again in the future. June 2026 Colman Bros have just installed a new kitchen for us.  From planning to finish there has been a professional approach from everyone involved. Darren project managed with precision giving us a plan of the whole project so we knew who would be with us each day which was very helpful. He also visited the project throughout. Alex and Robert installed the kitchen with an eye for detail. Excellent workmanship with everything kept clean and tidy. Colman Bros have just finished my kitchen update. I chose this firm because my son and daughter-in-law had a new kitchen fitted by them a few years ago (plus had building alterations done) and I was so impressed by the quality of work and the professionalism of everyone involved then that I didn’t even consider using another firm. Darren was very supportive in all decision making, kept me advised of the time and date re any work to be done and ensured that the timetable was adhered to. Alex and Bob’s skills were second to none, especially working around the physical problems in my existing kitchen, and I am so pleased with the end result. Every member of the extended team were polite, professional and undertook their work to a high standard. The added bonus was that any mess was always cleaned by the end of each day.
